Pick a spec, get the pixels
A passport photo has to satisfy both a physical size in millimetres and an upload resolution in pixels. Choose a spec and the output pixels are computed from your selected DPI.

File size limits
Many online applications cap the upload at 500KB. Move the quality slider and the estimated file size updates live, with a warning once it goes over the cap.
Head-size guide
Most authorities want the crown-to-chin height to fill 70–80% of the photo. Turn the guide on and that band is drawn as a dashed overlay, so you can fit the face with the zoom and position sliders. The guide is preview only and never appears in the saved file.
Background and privacy
Filling the background with white replaces transparent areas for a clean, uniform backdrop. Photos are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded.
