Convert units accurately
Convert between units you meet daily — length, weight, area, temperature, digital storage, and more. Type a value and the opposite direction updates at the same time.
The conversions people get wrong
- Temperature: Celsius↔Fahrenheit isn't a simple ratio.
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32. So 0°C is 32°F and 100°C is 212°F. - Area: 1 acre ≈ 4,047 m². Handy when translating property sizes into metric.
- Digital: some contexts treat 1KB as 1000 bytes (storage labels), others as 1024 (operating systems), so figures differ slightly.
Mind the precision
Because of floating-point math, the last digits of a very long decimal can drift slightly. When the error matters — accounting, precision engineering — check the displayed number of decimal places.
